Bloomingdale’s Pashmina Luxury Wrap/Shawl Scarf This beautiful pink wrap is 30″ x 80″, plus 4″ tassels on both ends.
It is carefully crafted using 55% Silk and 45% pashmina/cashmere, making it extraordinarily comfortable. Highly-prized ‘downy’ soft pashmina fleece is used.
This comes from the chest and underbelly of one type of goat – the Capra-Hircus – which only thrives at very high altitudes on the Mongolian Plateau in Nepal and Tibet.
The goats rely on this extremely fine, but very warm underlayer to keep them warm in sub-zero temperatures. Owning one of these silk/cashmere shawls is a real treat – they get softer and softer with wear, and you will find any excuse to have it with you at all times.
This is the real thing and once you have it on, you won’t want to take it off!
